As a trail racer myself I understand that life happens, and we pride ourselves for having the best cancellation policies out there. I want to be fair with everyone, but also want everyone to understand the work and costs that go into putting on a race, even if the race is forced to be cancelled.

Please read the policies below before registering.

REFUNDS/TRANSFERS/CREDITS:

There are no refunds given for any reason. Please do not ask. There are no transfers to other runners. No exceptions. Runners who must cancel their registration more than 30 days prior to the race can opt for a 100% credit toward any Elevated Trail Race within one year of canceling. If your cancellation is 30 days or less from your race day, there will be a 50% race credit toward any race.

In order to cancel and receive your credit towards next years event, please follow these instructions:

  1. You MUST cancel 30 days or MORE before the event to receive full credit. Anything before 30 days will be a 50% credit.
  2. Log onto your Ultrasignup account.
  3. Go into your registration history.
  4. Cancel your registration.

This will remove you from the event and your credit will automatically be used once you register. You will have to cancel yourself. We cannot do it for you.

PRE-PURCHASED ITEMS

Items such as shirts, hats, headgear, hoodies, pint glasses or any other add-on items available for purchase on Ultrasignup must be picked up in person, at check-in race weekend. Items not picked up will not be shipped for any reason.

SWITCHING DISTANCES

You may drop down or move up in events with multiple distances – prior to the event only. If the distance you would like to move into is at capacity and has a waitlist, you will need to get on the waitlist. We cannot move you ahead of those on the waitlist. If dropping down to a shorter race, no refund will be given. If moving up to a longer race, the difference will be due prior to being added to the race. Please email race directors to inform us that you would like to switch distances.

RACE CANCELLATION/POSTPONE

In the event that Elevated Trail Racing is forced to cancel a race for any reason and the event can not be feasibly rescheduled, everyone will receive a 100% money credit that you can use toward any Elevated Trail Race for one year. If we are forced to postpone the event and you cannot make the date, simply cancel your registration to receive a full credit to any Elevated Trail Race in the next year.

RESERVED RACE SPOT

Elevated Trail Racing reserves a number of registration spots for sponsors/others – outside of the normal registration process – regardless if race is filled.
