MARK BRAUN
Mark is the only runner to have run at least one race each year since the OTSC existence. Mark has completed the entire stage race five times and has ran the Larison Rock stage all 8 times! Mark is a well known runner around the OTSC community. He is always willing to give an extra hand to the runners, and is famous for his amazing vertical prowess leaping into the air whenever he sees a photo opportunity. I am proud to call Mark my friend, and he will always be a huge part of the OTSC community. Let’s see if Mark can keep the streak alive!!
MIKE TYLER
Mike has been at every OTSC event, but there was one year he volunteered instead of participated. Mike has completed the entire stage race three different times and has run at least one stage each year besides 2022, where he volunteered each day. Mike is more well known in the Ultra running community. Mike has competed in numerous 100 mile races including the prestigious Western States 100. Mike is always willing to volunteer or run at a race. Give him a beer and a trail and Mike’s happy:)
DANIEL GAEBELE & ALI TRUEWORTHY
Daniel Gaebele and Ali Trueworthy first participated in the OTSC in 2019. After the final day, when Ali came into the finish line Daniel pronounced his love for her, and the rest is history! Since then, they have come back every year besides 2021. Both Ali and Daniel are very popular in the OTSC community, having five stage race finishes each, but why everyone knows these two, is their photogenic smile on the course. They have been used in more Instagram posts than any other runner. If they wanted to, they could probably both quit their day jobs and be a full time models for dentist businesses, but I don’t see that happening anytime soon, since they are both doctors in their field.
